Our increasingly popular event Pudjasera was once again a great success! Over 150 PERMAI BC Members gathered together on Saturday, December 1st, to socialize with fellow Indonesians and people in the community.
Pudjasera events are intimate, members-only gatherings designed to foster relationships. This time we moved to a more spacious setting at the Marpole Oakridge Community Centre, which better accommodated our growing attendees. The venue was filled with conversation and laughter throughout the afternoon.
Thank you to our vendors: Yuanita Lestari, Vaila Atrya, Pinky Broto, Nilam Ambarwati, Vincci, Shelly Gucci and Zslimes who cured our homesickness and provided us with delicious food as always. The diverse menu that day included es blewah, gudeg, kue basah (risoles, nagasari, lemper, arem2, rempeyek), nasi goreng, ayam penyet, sate padang, dendeng balado and so much more.
Thank you to our volunteers, organizing members, and the PPLN Vancouver team who took the time to inform us on how to vote for next year’s election. And last but not least, thank you to everyone who came to join us and made it a blast. If you missed us this time, stay tuned for our next Pudjasera!
